Tell us more about who you are and what you do!
Hi! I’m Hannah, also known as Sister, and I’m a singer-songwriter, musician, and artist.
What led you to becoming a musician?
It’s something I’ve always been drawn to and have always loved doing. I did my first “performance” when I was 9 at my older sister Mia’s quinceanera and knew I had to keep doing this in whatever way possible.
Valentine's Day just passed. What is your favorite love song ever written and why?
Oh wow! My favorite love song! This is so tough to answer because there are so many incredible love songs and I’m a hopeless romantic, so I’m all about a good love song. I suppose if I had to choose I would pick My Man performed by Barbra Streisand. The lyrics, the delivery, the depth of emotion. Just so powerful, desperate, and heartbreaking.

Where do you find creative inspiration?
I find creative inspiration everywhere, in everything. I have found it’s harder to not find inspiration than to find it. I am really inspired by people and their resilience, love, loss, nature, the list goes on and on.

What advice would you give someone wanting to pursue a career in music?
I would always advise to just do it! Not just with music, but whatever it is that you feel you want to do. If you can think it, you can do it. It can be terrifying at times, but always worth it.
What’s coming down the pipeline for you creatively?
I’m working on my first full length album. I can’t wait to share it. I feel this is my most personal writing and a real look into my life and where I’ve been.

What do you like about your Just Black Denim jeans?
My Just Black Denim is so comfortable! I wore my Donna Jeans during the tour I just wrapped up and they are amazing for traveling in!! Just enough stretch, really versatile, and easy to wear.
